33 Week Journal

How far along? 33 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Up 2 pounds from 2 weeks ago, when the battery died in the scale.
Stretch Marks: Just noticed a couple more little ones this morning.  Overall, not bad at all though.
Sleep: Decent enough.
Best moment this week: Hearing that the baby's heart hasn't gotten any worse than it was a week ago.
Worst moment this week: Knowing that the chances of survival post-delivery aren't that great.  Lots of unknowns for the future.
Movement: I thought movement was pretty good, but apparently not good enough yesterday afternoon.
Belly Button in or out? Slightly out.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
What I'm going to miss/What I can't wait for: I'm ready to be done going to the doctor!
Weekly Wisdom: Don't dwell on the negative.
Milestones/Fun Moments: I think this was the first week they told us how much the baby weighs.  Too bad they had such conflicting numbers.
What we need to do: Have this baby!

Don't forget, you can try to guess when Baby will be here...  Click here to enter a guess in our baby pool.

32 Week Journal

How far along? 32 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: No idea.  The battery in my scale died, so I can't see if there was any change this week.
Stretch Marks: Nothing new
Sleep: Decent.  Some crazy dreams the past couple of nights, which of course I don't remember.
Best moment this week: Did some shopping over the weekend and picked up a few clothes.  Think I may have found the going home outfit.
Worst moment this week:Um, yesterday's visit to the doctor.
Movement: Yup.  Plenty of it.
Belly Button in or out? Same as last week.
Wedding rings on or off? They're on still.
What I'm going to miss/What I can't wait for: Ready for all the heart issues to be fixed.  Wish we could be done with doctors.
Weekly Wisdom:Take it one day at a time.
Milestones/Fun Moments: Getting the nursery put together and pretty much ready to bring a baby home.
What we need to do: Fix Baby's heart!

Don't forget, you can try to guess when Baby will be here... Click here to enter a guess in our baby pool.

31 Week Journal

How far along? 31 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Up 2 more pounds. If things continue at this rate, I'll be huge!
Stretch Marks: No change.
Sleep: Decent. The warm weather returned, which of course makes it a bit more uncomfortable.
Best moment this week: As uncomfortable as they sometimes can be, I like feeling the extra jabs as Baby moves around.
Worst moment this week: Well, if you've read last night's post, you'll know how the week ended. Other than that news, it's been a pretty good week.
Movement: Remember the pressure that I was commenting on last week? Well it has now sometimes morphed into a game of "guess what body part that is". Normally I can't really tell, but there is a difference between hands/feet and head/butt.
Belly Button in or out? I think I'm officially going to say that it's flat now. With maybe a tiny little bit being an outie.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
What I'm going to miss/What I can't wait for: Eager to meet Baby, but also a bit anxious and certainly willing to wait as long as necessary.
Weekly Wisdom: Try not to stress about things that are out of your control.
Milestones/Fun Moments: Got to see Baby again- just hate the circumstances.
What we need to do: The nursery is now all freshly painted and things are more or less back in place. We still need to paint the doors and the dresser, but at least we can move around a little better. Otherwise I feel like we're in a pretty good place. Need to get the carseat, I could use some more cloth dipes, but otherwise more or less all set. Oh, and a breast pump.

And now for a game... Click here to enter a guess in our baby pool.

30 Week Journal

How far along? 30 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Up another 2 pounds. At this rate I believe I will be above the "recommended" weight gain for my starting weight and height, but I'm not overly concerned.
Stretch Marks: Nothing new. I really can't complain.
Sleep: Most nights I find myself waking up to pee. And it seems I tend to wake up consistently between 5 and 5:30. I usually fall back to sleep pretty quickly and I'm very glad there's a bathroom attached to our bedroom. When house hunting last year, there was one we looked at that only had a bathroom on the lower level. Chris didn't think it would be a big deal. I knew otherwise. I'm glad we decided not to buy that house. :)
Best moment this week: Got a wonderful car load of hand-me downs from my friend Mel. Still need to find the time to sort through them and figure out what's what. For now, they're pretty much all in the living room.
Worst moment this week: Afternoon sleepiness.
Movement: Oh my! Baby has been moving up a storm this week. Not so much with the kicks that I've been feeling in the past, but with lots of pressure up against my belly. Which prompted these texts last week.
Me: Please tell your child to stop abusing me.
Him: Katrina Anne/ Bennett Henry Bredford stop abusing your mother!
Me: Thanks. I like you you used the full name.
Me: Baby didn't listen.
Belly Button in or out? Barely still in. I feel like a broken record saying that every week.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
What I'm going to miss/What I can't wait for: Can't wait for Baby to get here. Wish I didn't have to wait another 2+ months.
Milestones/Fun Moments: The nursery got painted this week. Our friend Kristin will be coming in late September/ early October to paint some murals for us as well. But for now, the main wall color is up and the ceiling and trim has been painted. Much brighter now! I also finished knitting the pair of socks I was working on and started on a soaker (used as a cover with cloth diapers).
What we need to do: Need to finish getting the room ready and get a car seat, but pretty much feeling like things are under control.

29 Week Journal

How far along? 29 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Woo hoo- no change. Actually, to be technical, down 2 tenths of a pound.
Stretch Marks: Nothing new.
Sleep: Decent, but waking up with some hip pain. Mostly just sore from lying on my side.
Best moment this week: I think one of the best moments was last night. I finished the quilt!!!!
Worst moment this week: Stabbing myself with numerous pins while sewing. :)
Movement: Yup. Baby was especially active on my way to work this morning.
Belly Button in or out? Almost an outie. It's actually very weird looking.
Wedding rings on or off? Still on. My watch has been coming off frequently though.
What I'm going to miss/What I can't wait for: Want to hurry up and get the nursery painted so that I can get it all arranged properly.
Weekly Wisdom: Don't overdo it. 2 hours on Sunday weeding crabgrass from flower beds took its toll on me!
Milestones/Fun Moments: Nice to know the bedding is complete. Maybe I can reclaim my dining room table?
What we need to do: Finish up the nursery. But for the most part I feel like things are under control.

28 Week Journal

How far along? 28 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Up one more pound. I like that gain better than the last couple of weeks.
Stretch Marks: Still not really any.
Sleep: Decent. Had to get up a couple of times this week, but overall not too bad.
Best moment this week: Got to see some old friends over the weekend and received a number of hand me down clothes as well as a high chair and bouncy seat (although it is pink). I'm not positive, but I think we may be all set in 0-3 month clothes.
Worst moment this week: Starting to feel a lot more tired. Not sure if this is due to pregnancy or other factors though.
Movement: About the same as last week. I kind of wonder if I should be feeling more movement than I do.
Belly Button in or out? Still just barely in. Pretty flat.
Wedding rings on or off? On, but one of my other rings that I wear all the time was getting pretty tight, so I swapped it for a larger one.
What I'm going to miss/What I can't wait for: This is very much out of character for me, but I'm ready for fall. Normally I want summer to last as long as possible, but I'm ready for crisp autumn weather.
Milestones/Fun Moments: 3rd trimester!
What we need to do: Need to get moving on the search for daycare and a pediatrician.

Thursday, August 5, 2010

27 Week Journal

How far along? 27 weeks. Final trimester, baby!
Total weight gain/loss: Up another 2 pounds.
Stretch Marks: Still nothing major.
Sleep: Usually manage to sleep through the night. And if I do have to get up, I usually fall right back to sleep.
Best moment this week: We got another look at the baby yesterday. Still showing some tricuspid regurgitation (the leakage in the heart) but no other problems, so the doctor isn't overly concerned.
Worst moment this week: Luckily I don't think there were any bad moments.
Movement: Yup. Plenty of movement. Starting to feel movement more throughout the day, but still usually when I'm sitting.
Belly Button in or out? I keep thinking this will be the week that it will pop out, but it's still partly an innie.
Wedding rings on or off? They're on. Actually, one of my other rings feels tighter than my wedding rings.
What I'm going to miss/What I can't wait for: Can't wait to be done sewing the quilt for the nursery!
Weekly Wisdom: Take it easy. Don't worry about things you can't control.
Milestones/Fun Moments: Had a dentist appointment on Monday and they gave me Baby's first toothbrush.
Went to Maine over the weekend for my aunt and uncle's 50th wedding anniversary. Got to show off my belly to a number of family members.
What we need to do: I'm eager to get the nursery finished up, even though I know there is still plenty of time. We got some paint swatches/ samples for the walls. Need to make a decision on that soon.

26 Week Journal

How far along? 26 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Ugh. Up 3 pounds this week. Didn't think I was eating that much more.
Stretch Marks: Nothing new.
Sleep: Usually sleeping through the night. Had to get up a couple of nights to go to the bathroom, but luckily I'm able to fall right back asleep. Wondering if I'll continue to have that ability once Baby is here.
Best moment this week: Not baby related, but we finally got a new storage cabinet for all of our games. We've had so many that they were spread around in a couple of different places without enough space. Chris was going to build a cabinet, but on the way to the lumberyard we stopped at Ikea. We found some great deals in the "as is" area. And there's even an area reserved for kids games and toys, although I know it won't be nearly enough space.
Chris also pointed out that there are now fewer than 100 days until my due date.
And congrats to my cousin Beth who announced that's she's due in Jan with #3.
Movement: Baby has been kicking/ punching up a storm this week! In the past I would usually feel the most movement when lying in bed. Now it's in the car, sitting at my desk at work, sitting at my sewing machine... For the most part it's nice, but sometimes I have to tell the little one to calm down a bit. S/he doesn't listen.
Belly Button in or out? In. I keep thinking this won't last much longer, but I still have an innie.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
What I'm going to miss/What I can't wait for: I can't wait to be done sewing Baby's quilt! It's taking much longer than I would have anticipated.

25 Week Journal

How far along? 25 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Up one more pound. (Total of 19 pounds so far.)
Stretch Marks: Maybe a couple of little ones on my hip, but nothing to worry about.
Sleep: Decent, although I've been staying up way too late.
Best moment this week: Making progress with the bedding. Bumpers are done and the quilt is in progress. I'll be glad when it's done. The first order of cloth diapers arrived and I used my old Cabbage patch Kid, Eleanore, to practice putting them on.
Worst moment this week: Frustrated at my OBs office who keeps calling me to reschedule appointments. And the new times they give me aren't convenient at all!
Movement: Moving up a storm, or at least I'm noticing movement more than usual.
Labor Pains: Nope.
Belly Button in or out? Still in.
Wedding rings on or off? On. However in the heat and humidity they can get pretty tight.
What I'm going to miss/What I can't wait for: Anxious for the next few months to go buy quickly, but also not feeling ready yet.
Weekly Wisdom: Don't overdo it. Take it easy when you can.
Milestones/Fun Moments: Baby went to Fenway Park for the 3rd time. However, this time wasn't for a baseball game. Fenway was hosting a football match (that's soccer, in American-speak). And the team we were rooting for won. Lots of fun.

24 Week Journal

How far along? 24 weeks
Total weight gain/loss:
Up 1 more pound. (At least I've been consistent the past few weeks.)
Stretch Marks:
Not that I've noticed.
Sleep:
Pretty good.
Best moment this week:
Chris felt the baby kicking. And I think I saw my first kicks.
Worst moment this week
: The heat and humidity continue. Blech.
Movement:
Mostly feel Baby in the evenings when I'm reading in bed.
Labor Pains:
Not yet.
Belly Button in or out?
Still in.
Wedding rings on or off?
They're on.
What I'm going to miss/What I can't wait for:
Can't wait to have the nursery all put together!
Weekly Wisdom:
Don't think that you can do it all. Try to ask for help more frequently.
Accomplishments this week/ What we need to do:
Slowly making progress on the nursery bedding. Valance and crib skirt are done. Bumpers are mostly done- or at least the time consuming part is done. Need to finish those, make the quilt, and I also decided to make a couple of liners for baskets that we got for the changing table. Lots more to do though in the nursery- paint, order photos, get them matted and framed, etc.
Other accomplishments- we finished registering and I ordered our first bunch of cloth diapers.

23 Week Journal

How far along? 23 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Up another pound.
Stretch Marks:Nope.
Sleep: Decent, even with the heat wave we've had, thanks to a couple of AC units from friends of ours.
Best moment this week: Getting another peek at the little one during the ultrasound and fetal echocardiogram. (See previous post.)
Gender prediction: No clue. But I did appreciate that at the place I've been going for my extra tests, on the front of my chart is says we don't want to know. And then the ultrasound tech first greeted us she confirmed that we still didn't want to know. I like that they were a bit more sensitive to that.
Movement: Yup. Looking forward to Chris being able to feel movement though.
Labor Pains: Nothing yet.
Belly Button in or out? Still in.
Wedding rings on or off? On, although on some of the hotter days they've gotten a bit stuck.
Milestones/Fun Moments: Seeing Baby again. Can't wait to finally meet the little one. Only 4 more months.
What we need to do: Working on getting the nursery put together. Did a little bit of rearranging (it's going to be tight in there!) and started to make the bedding. We're going with a British theme, so I'm making a Union Jack quilt and coordinating bedskirt, bumper, and valance.

22 Week Journal

How far along? 22 weeks.
Total weight gain/loss: Up a pound, for a total of 16.
TP test: I've decided not to do this test any more as it is silly and I don't really believe the "measurements" I've been getting lately.
Maternity Clothes: Yup. Even ordered more, which arrived last night. Tried them on and one or two even make me look more pregnant than I am.
Food cravings/ aversions: Nope.
Signs of Pregnancy: Just looking at me, there is no hiding it!
Stretch Marks: Nothing yet.
Sleep: Pretty good. Except for last night. Couldn't fall asleep and couldn't get comfy.
Big things this week: Started to register, although we are no where near complete.
Gender prediction: Not a prediction, but Boy Chris confessed that he's secretly hoping for a girl. :)
Movement: Starting to feel the occasional kick/punch.
Labor Pains: Nope. Too early.
Belly Button in or out? Still in. Much shallower though.
Wedding rings on or off? They're still on.

21 Week Journal

How far along? 21 weeks.
Total weight gain/loss: Up another 2.8, for a total of 15 pounds gained so far. Seems like a large gain for this week, but last week was a tiny loss so I guess they even out.
TP test: 10 1/4 squares. Thinking about stopping doing this "test" as it's very inaccurate and kind of a pain.
Maternity Clothes: I discovered that I have a couple of pairs of non-maternity shorts that still fit. Not sure for how much longer, but for now they are nice.
Food cravings/ aversions: Nothing noteworthy.
"Morning" Sickness: Nope. Vomit free this week!
Signs of Pregnancy: Expanding belly, plus I think I've started to feel movement!
Stretch Marks: Not yet.
Sleep: Pretty good this week.
Big things this week: Starting to feel movement. Good results back from the testing that we had done.
Gender prediction: Due to the amnio, we could know this beyond a shadow of a doubt. Part of me would like to know, but I'm also looking forward to that surprise in November.
Movement: A little. Mostly in the evening when I'm lying in bed.
Labor Pains: Nope.
Belly Button in or out? In. Barely.
Wedding rings on or off? On, except on really hot days. Then my fingers are all swollen.

20 Week Journal

How far along? 20 weeks. Halfway there!!!
Total weight gain/loss:
Down .4 pounds. Odd. Thought I ate a lot this week.
TP test: Back down to 10 squares. I keep fluctuating in the 10 square range.
Food cravings/ aversions:
No.
"Morning" Sickness:
No.
Signs of Pregnancy:
A little bit of round ligament pain. Also bending over to tie shoes or pick something up is sometimes uncomfortable.
Stretch Marks:
Not yet.
Sleep:
Decent. Although when I've woken up, my belly has often been very hard and somewhat painful.
Big things this week:
Well, there have been a few additional posts over the past week which will let you know what's been going on. The "biggie" is yesterday's update to go along with the new ultrasound photos.
Gender prediction:
I had a dream recently about the gender. But otherwise trying not to guess one way or the other.
Movement:
Can't feel it, but based on ultrasounds we know that Baby is moving all around.
Labor Pains:
Too early.
Belly Button in or out?
Still in.
Wedding rings on or off?
On.
Weekly Wisdom:
Try not to stress about the unknown. Yeah, I know. So much easier said than done.

Thursday, June 10, 2010

19 Week Journal

How far along? 19 weeks.
Total weight gain/loss:
Up another 1.4, so a total of 13 pounds.
TP test: 10.5 squares
Maternity Clothes:
Yes.
Food cravings/ aversions:
Well, this week we've been eating a lot of leftovers, so you could say I have an aversion to lasagna and BBQ. However, this is not pregnancy related.
"Morning" Sickness:
Nope.
Signs of Pregnancy:
Mah belleh.
Stretch Marks:
Not yet.
Sleep:
Much better since we got the new mattress!
Big things this week: 5 relatives from Georgia came to visit for the week. And they brought all kinds of baby gear with them, plus boxes of clothes! Also, we had our ultrasound.
Gender prediction:
Not even going to try to guess.
Movement: Not yet. Wish I could feel something soon.
Labor Pains: Too early.
Belly Button in or out? In, but getting smaller.
Wedding rings on or off? Mostly on. But last weekend we had some hot/humid days and I had to take them off.
Weekly Wisdom: Try not to worry.

Thursday, June 3, 2010

18 Weeks Journal

How far along? 18 weeks.
Total weight gain/loss: up another pound.
TP test: Oddly, I seemed to have lost half a square- back to 10.
Maternity Clothes: Yup. Tried wearing a regular cami underneath a thin t-shirt this week. Didn't go so well. there was a definite line between the bottom of the cami and the top of the pants. Oops.
Food cravings/ aversions: Nope.
"Morning" Sickness: Nope.
Signs of Pregnancy: My belleh.
Stretch Marks: Nope.
Sleep: We got a new mattress and I seem to be sleeping pretty well.
Big things this week: Baby got to go to two Red Sox games during the past week! Last Thursday I was volunteering for the Red Sox Foundation, selling raffle tickets during the game, and then as a thanks for doing that, Chris and I were able to get tickets for this past Tuesday.
Movement: Not sure. I felt something on Tuesday morning, but I'm not sure if it was the baby moving or something else.
Labor Pains: Nope.
Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On.

Thursday, May 27, 2010

17 Week Journal

How far along? 17 weeks.
Total weight gain/loss: I think this may have been my first week of no change. Which is odd, since I feel like I've gotten larger.
TP test: About 10 1/2 squares.
Maternity Clothes: Yup. I fit into fewer and fewer old clothes.
Food cravings/ aversions: Nothing special this week.
"Morning" Sickness: Nope.
Signs of Pregnancy: Um, the largeness of my belly.
Stretch Marks: Nope.
Sleep: Last night we went and ordered a new mattress and bedroom furniture. The furniture will take 2-5 weeks to get here, but the mattress is being delivered on Saturday. I can't wait!!! There were a couple of nights where I woke up in so much pain that I almost got up and went into our guest bedroom which has a more comfortable bed.
Big things this week: Last Thursday I had another doctor appointment. In and out really quickly, but we did get to hear the heart beat again.
Gender prediction: Does this even matter?
Movement: Not yet, but apparently I should be able to start feeling Baby any day now.
Labor Pains: Nope.
Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Weekly Wisdom: Hmmm... nothing all that exciting to impart this week.

Thursday, May 20, 2010

16 Weeks Journal

How far along? 16 weeks.
Total weight gain/loss: I was kind of nervous about how much weight I would gain this week since I was away for work and constantly eating. Imagine my surprise when I stepped on the scale and had only gained a pound, bringing my total to 10 pounds so far. I have another appointment this afternoon, so we'll have to see what their scale says.
TP test: Just over 10 squares.
Maternity Clothes: Yup. I still fit into some of my old things, but not a lot.
Food cravings/ aversions: Nothing special this week.
"Morning" Sickness: The smell of the bathroom at the airport made me vomit last night, but not sure if that was pregnancy related or not.
Signs of Pregnancy: Growing tummy. :)
Stretch Marks: Nope, but towards the end of the day my belly has felt rather tight.
Sleep: Blissful for 4 nights this past week when I was at the hotel. Super comfy bed and I slept in a cocoon of down pillows (5 of them) and a down blanket. And then I came home to my normal bed. Blech. Eagerly awaiting our tax refund so that we can go out and buy a new bed and mattress.
Big things this week: I survived working crazy long hours and only overslept once. :) I think it will take a few days for my body to get back into a normal sleep pattern.
Gender prediction: The Chinese gender prediction test I took a few months ago said boy, but a co-worker found one which said girl. Hmm....
Movement: No. Eagerly awaiting feeling those first flurries.
Labor Pains: Nope.
Belly Button in or out? In. I think it may be getting a little shallower, but maybe that's just my imagination. Definitely feeling stretched out.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Random story from the past week: There was a group of us from work all on the same plane last night so we were at the airport together looking for a bite to eat. Everything was pretty crowded, so we're standing around waiting for a table. The bar we were at was pretty informal, when you saw a table get cleared you went over and took it. And many people were eating with strangers just so that they could get a place to sit. I think we were all wishing I was showing a bit more so that I could have played the pregnancy card to get us a place to sit.
And a quote of the week, when we were discussing "adult" topics... [Put] earmuffs on the baby.
Weekly Wisdom: Although this past week I frequently was reminding people that "I'm not an invalid", sometimes it's nice to be able to use it to get out of things or be able to eat ice cream at 10:30am because "baby wants it". :)

15 Weeks

How far along? 15 weeks.
Total weight gain/loss: up another pound
TP test: Just shy of 10 squares
Maternity Clothes: Tuesday I ran out and bought 3 pairs of maternity pants. Plus I have the few things I ordered last week. I hope I really like them because I imagine I'll be very tired of them in November. Some of the new clothes are still a little loose, but I doubt that will last for very long.
Food cravings/ aversions: People keep asking about this, but I don't think there has really been anything major.
"Morning" Sickness: So for reasons I can't explain I did experience a couple bouts of sickness over the weekend. Felt fine one minute and not the next. Hopefully it won't last.
Signs of Pregnancy: Now starting to wear maternity clothes. And it's official- my belly is now bigger than my boobs.
Stretch Marks: Nope.
Sleep: Eh. On the radio station I listen to, one of the DJ's wife is expecting a baby and people were calling in with advice. Many people said make sure you have a new mattress. How true! I can't wait until we get our tax return and we can go shopping for a new bed.
Big things this week: Shopping! This week has been full of getting some things for the baby. Our church had a rummage sale and we got a ton of stuff. We actually went back on 3 different days. And stopped at another church's yard sale as well. We spent $79 and got a bassinet, pack & play, exersaucer, doorway jumping thing, another sit-in activity thing, a couple of activity mats, a bag of clothes, a boppy, wooden puzzles, toys, toys, toys, at least a bag and a half of books, plus misc gift items for other people (brewing stuff for Uncle Andrew, vintage Fisher Price Little People for a friend who collects them, dress up clothes for a friend's child, books for kids we know, etc.) And we actually paid $15 more than they wanted us to because I felt they were under charging us.
Gender prediction: Not really thinking about it because I know it doesn't matter.
Movement: Nothing yet. Looking forward to feeling something.
Labor Pains: Nothing yet.
Belly Button in or out? In. Getting stretched a bit though. After 12 years I took out my belly button ring. Since I don't like needles I hadn't watched when he put it in. As a result, I wasn't exactly sure how it was held secure. I thought I was going to have to use two pairs of pliers to pry it apart. I've kind of been dreading having to deal with it. Turns out the ball on the ring popped off really easily. Wow, wish I had known how easy it was a few years ago!
Wedding rings on or off? On. And a little loose.
Weekly Wisdom: Don't put off getting those maternity clothes. It's not worth it to deal with pants that are uncomfortable.

Week 14 Journal

How far along? 14 weeks. (And a happy birthday to Jen Whitson.)
Total weight gain/loss: Up another 2, so I think that's 8 lbs overall?
TP test: Just about 10 squares.
Maternity Clothes: I broke down and ordered a couple of pairs of pants, a skirt, and a bathing suit. My current clothes are getting tight and I have an upcoming work trip to Florida.
Food cravings/ aversions: Still haven't actually tried the chocolate/strawberry milk combo, but a friend said her kids drink it all the time and like it.
"Morning" Sickness: I think it's pretty much gone.
Signs of Pregnancy: Running out of pants that fit. And starting to show a bit at work, depending on what I wear. I had a clingier shirt on earlier this week and it was particularly noticeable.
Stretch Marks: Nope.
Sleep: Slightly better than last week, but certainly not great.
Big things this week: I don't think there's been anything that momentous.
Gender prediction: Who knows. I think I'm trying to avoid predicting one way or the other because I don't want to be wrong.
Movement: Probably not for another month or so. Kind of freaked Chris out a bit though. I had moved my legs into a position which caused a bit of round ligament pain. Moved them back. Then a bit later forgot about it and tried moving my legs again. Another stab of pain, and I commented that the baby didn't like that. I think he thought I meant that I was being kicked. Nope, not yet.
Labor Pains: Nothing yet.
Belly Button in or out? Definitely in. Still wondering when I should take out my belly ring.
Wedding rings on or off? On. And a little loose.
Weekly Wisdom: Just take it one day at a time. It all goes by so quickly.
